Have you always wanted to learn to wakesurf? Book a lesson or charter with us on Lake Norman or Lake Lanier and we will have you dropping the rope in no time! ⬇️ Expanded detail on standing up ⬇️ -Determine which foot you feel most comfortable with in the front -Put your feet all the way on the edge of the traction pad closest to you (if they are not close enough the the edge, the board will not flip up) -Position them slightly wider than your shoulder width -Relax your feet and let your toes face straight up towards the sky -Bend your knees to almost 90 degrees -Arms are out straight with elbows inside of the knees -Once the boat starts to go, keep arms straight and slightly lift your hands and kick your heels down (this will push the board up to your feet) -Stay in a low athletic squat leaning on your heels until you are outside the wake -Slowly stand up with knees slightly bent and begin to center your weight on the board -Turn the tip of the board towards the boat following the direction of the wave -Next Video: Learning to stay in the wave and drop the rope!
